What happens during family medicine visits?

During family medicine appointments at WithCare Clinic, your provider weighs you or your child, evaluates vital signs, and discusses the reason for the visit. They review medical history, complete a physical exam, and may order lab tests, heart function testing, or other diagnostic tests.

WithCare Clinic provides recommendations and refferals for a variety of screenings for adults, depending on their age. These screenings include: blood pressure screening, cancer screenings, STD screenings, eye exam screenings and more. Your medical provider can offer medication prescriptions, preventive medicine, and other treatments that minimize your risk of complications. 

When should I schedule family medicine appointments?

If you’re in good health, you may need an annual (yearly) physical to screen for potential problems. Individuals with underlying medical conditions need more frequent wellness checkups to ensure optimal health and well-being.
